1. Where are you located?

We are located in the village of Andreus, Sardoal, in central Portugal, with easy access to the Estrada Nacional 2 and various nature trails and footpaths in the region. 

2. What types of accommodation are available?

We offer different options, including overnight stays with rooftop tents (in your own vehicle or available on site), glamping units and traditional rooms, allowing you to choose the level of comfort that suits you best.

3. Can I stay overnight with my own vehicle?

Yes. All overlanders are welcome and can stay overnight with their own vehicle and rooftop tent or, alternatively, try out a tent already set up and available at N2 OverlanderLodge.

4. Is it necessary to have an off-road vehicle?

No. Access to N2 Overlander Lodge is by road and can be reached by conventional light vehicles.

5. Is the space suitable for families?

Yes. N2 OverlanderLodge is a family-friendly, peaceful and safe space, with direct contact with nature and outdoor areas suitable for children. 

6. Is there a kitchen available?

Yes. The lodge has a fully equipped communal kitchen, as well as an outdoor cooking area with a fire pit and cast iron equipment, designed for a "back to basics" experience.

7. What is included in the stay?

The stay includes access to common facilities, outdoor areas, and social areas.

8. Are pets allowed?

Pets are permitted upon prior request, provided they are accompanied and respect the rules of the space and other guests.

9. Do you organise events or activities?

Yes. Occasionally, we organise outdoor cooking experiences, gatherings around the campfire and other activities related to the region's trails and routes (hiking, trekking and 4x4). Always in harmony with the space and the territory. In addition, we are delighted to introduce visitors to the region. Offering walking trails, nature trails, access to the River Tagus, traditional villages, cultural heritage and experiences linked to nature and local cuisine.

10. Is it necessary to book in advance?

Yes. We always recommend booking in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons.

11. Is there electricity and water connection?

Yes. We have electricity and water, managed responsibly and sustainably. 

12. Is N2 Overlander Lodge a campsite?

No. It is a small-scale nature tourism lodge offering different types of accommodation and experiences, focused on rest, tranquillity and connection with the local area.

13. What is the fire and cast iron kitchen?

It is an outdoor cooking experience based on the use of fire and cast iron utensils. Meal preparation becomes a moment of conviviality, sharing and connection with nature.

14. How does the fire and cast iron kitchen work?

The kitchen is available to visitors, who can actively participate in the preparation of traditional dishes, always with guidance and defined safety rules. N2 Overlander Lodge provides the main cast iron utensils and the fire area. Ingredients can be brought by visitors or, in specific experiences, provided by the lodge. We are happy to welcome any visitor to this activity, with or without experience.
